Pilgrim stamp passport
Pilgrim passport for pilgrim stamps from Stade to Rome
Paperback, 72 pages, € 7.00
The pilgrim stamp passport is available from the
online shop of the Wernigerode Tourismus GmbH
to obtain.
A pilgrim’s passport is of course not compulsory, but it identifies the pilgrim as such at various points of contact along the way and can thus open the doors to hostels that remain closed to tourists or hikers. It is also a wonderful souvenir.
However, in order to receive the pilgrim’s certificate in Rome at St Peter’s Basilica for a recognised pilgrimage on foot to the tombs of the apostles Peter and Paul, proof of the pilgrim’s passport is absolutely essential!

With Three Lamas to Rome
With a somewhat curious delegation, Thomas Mohr from South Tyrol set off for Rome with two friends and three llamas.
It was precisely this constellation of man and animal that proved to be extremely fruitful and meaningful, even if only in terms of the rhythm that the llamas set for the pilgrims.

Mayor Dombrowski and the Via Romea
In his novel, author Achim Fischer recounts his experiences during one of the first hikes on the VIA ROMEA in Italy. It contains all kinds of true events. But there are also purely fictional parts that capture the spirit and certainly serve to entertain.
